cake is done!
add on sliced almonds on the side as deco and taste
decorate with some flowers and hearts.

Chicken Pies

the supposedly no-fail recipe for chicken pies. everything is made from scratch. not campbell soup (which I kinda, insisted on using. haha) or frozen pie crust. we used ghee for the crust, hence it has a really buttery taste and crisp like curry puff.
2 types of mushrooms as we love it, potatoes, chicken chunks, carrots chunks and long beans chunks
mixing the ghee and flour until it resembles bread crumbs
cooking the chicken pie filling.. using chicken stock as the base

filling done~! fill the crust with this and put to bake!
seriously, i want her oven more than the pies!!! her oven is so much bigger and even than mine!

the pie is even better after storing for a few days. love the crust! but more difficult to handle when rolling because ghee is softer than butter
