the foursome -
how I miss those times!! reliving every moment of it whenever I see the photos. the laughters tears and joy we had. altogether, always by each others side. our footsteps path the streets of places we travelled. how I miss those times!!
Red white fleet of San Francisco - going to see the Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge
Pier 39 that was famous in San Fran, with Alcatraz behind us

the world most crooked street! it practically goes zig zag!
together freezing in San Fran, braving the cold in just flip flops.
magnificent golden gate bridge and us
this is what happiness looks like =)
at a beach in San Fran, we love it there so much that we stayed one more day!

City of Manhattan behind us
on the Brooklyn Bridge
Wall Street in New York

New York Cheesecake! how can we miss that when we're in NYC?!
the national museum of natural history! where 'the night at the museum' features!

911 site.

look at the tree branch above and read this below. . . 911 tragedy
on the Brooklyn Bridge
The United States court house.

another Trinity Church at Wall Street

Times Square in NYC
personally, i didnt quite like NYC. it's too city and conjested. everyone seems so unfriendly and busy with life that they couldnt care less about the surrounding. much like Singapore though. but the pollution there is so bad that my nails turned black by the end of the day. I couldn't wait to go back Lake George when we finally reached our last day there. it was that bad to me! NYC would be a place for touring, not a place to live in. at least, to me.

im home

Friday, August 15, 2008

oh my. there goes my summer holiday.

im home again! 'Singapore, my homeland, it's here that we belong.' this propaganda sounds so familiar once again.

the air feels so heavy here. the humidity level is crazy. i almost forget how warm Singapore is.

the moment I stepped out of Changi Airport, I felt like walking into a huge sauna, like as if I'm a bun inside a steaming tray. oh my. I can hardly breathe! that was when I thought to myself, I wanna go back to Queensbury!

everything looks so familiar once again. Reality is brought right smacked into my face. i'm home! a rude awakening from the 3 months dream. now it's back to the mundane life.. school tuition home school tuition home.

it's time to work hard for year 3 now. goodness. NUS here I come!

little boy Gary and Gian
Sky Coaster from far.. our daily view of it when walking to work.
Carol at work.. i was about to do a flight myself

our supervisor on the left and cashier on the right.

Kai -- our area's security guard. he's a nice guy who's so interested in Asian culture!
Eric!! our big big manager!

Dave at work! and below is our usual morning meeting.. where everyone will gather at the pool stage and talk about the day's work. the one posing for my camera is Katie, my supervisor. The one who took care of us these 3 months.
seriously, it really does feels like leaving a family behind. not being able to see them again in my whole life makes it worse... the friendships that i've made these three months are amazing. I never knew something like that would happen in my life. I'm missing those times already.
