a treat from Jian Hao at Merchant Court Swiss 'otel, Peiming, Jian Hao, Tim & I met up long after september for a celebration and get-together.

we had a mini get-together at Timbre. food was ok only, but the service was B A D like dunno wat.. damn freaking bad service. goodness. i can't remember much about that place but only the freaking bad service. it was that bad. that was the first time I had my appetizer as my dessert -_- and my main course as my appetizer. other than that, the company was good.. it's been donkeys since I met them.
spare ribs and pizza we had. salad too, but it came out only after everything AND several times of reminder. i bet they needed to harvest the vege from the garden huh.
thanks girls! the dinner was still good! and the earrings!

birthday dinner was at Changi Village Hotel. thanks to the F1 race in Singapore, the first drive was on my birthday, we had to avoid the city area as there was road blocks everywhere and prices of hotels increased ridiculously high. so we gotta choose some quiet far away hotel... Changi Hotel wasn't that bad, other than the distance, it's actually quite good surprisingly! even better, UOB had 1 for 1 offer! so it was like half price for everyone! the bill came out really cheap!

after dinner with Derrick on my Birthday, we chiong down to Holland V 3am Dessert Bar to chill. good companies, slow soothing night till morning. started with a surprise and ended with another. 21st celebration is really good. can I have it again next year? haha
the surprise "dish" that came out suddenly. we were all shocked cuz this was definitely not part of the plan! it was on the courtesy of the staff at 3am Bar. so sweet!
desserts we had that night. some chocolate thing. damn rich and good!
a messy lump of i dunno wad. just... right smack on the plate. it's like someone kneading a mixture of cream cheese, nuts and cookies. then, fling it over the window and landed on this plate. hahaha!

then we drove back to Brian's new house and stuck in his entertainment room till 7am!!

then my 4th birthday cake appeared! thank u guys! I still remember how good the cake smell!!!

another perfect night! how perfect can everything be when everything is already so perfect?? =D we chat play sleep till 7am the next morning. thank u guys! it's worth the panda eyes and extra pimples! =)

On the exact day, we went Secret Garden for dinner. the menu for the dinner was tailor-made for us. special arrangements were made that night too. we were given a corner table and the rest around us were labelled with "Reserved" so that no one else can disturb us =) REALLY good service.
the floor manager kept talking to us.. a little.. no privacy.. but he took the effort to describe all the dishes that were to be served. he even made special last-touch on the food before serving us! i wonder why this exception for us .. ??

our 1st appetizer - portobello mushroom! looks big. it is!
2nd appetizer - baked escargot
looks gross when it is close up. but heck man! it's good!
steak for the man of cuz.
lamb pour moi~! omg! this is definitely going to be the BEST lamb I EVER eaten in my WHOLE life. it has some weird nuts cereal herbs i dunno what coating the lamb. and the meat is so soft and well-seasoned! wow man!
with red wine to match the red meat too!
after the main course, we paused a long while before continuing. the waiter was really flexible in allowing us that period of rest before the next dish is served. really good service!
then again, out of no where, the lights were dimmed, the background song was changed to classical birthday song and a trail of waiters came in with the candle on dessert! so sweet!!

after that, we rushed home to cut another cake with Derrick's family. they are so sweet! even prepared me a mini celebration, I seriously didn't expect that yet...
his mummy preparing the candles. and she bought me an aga-aga jelly cake. first time I see this kinda cake. haha so cute!

that day was hectic. after cutting the cake with his family, we cab down to meet Brian, Leona & Raphael at Holland V! what a night!
